Sports Performance

Mission

To educate, inspire and positively impact students, families and colleagues in order to be fit and healthy in mind, body and spirit - now and well into the future!

Philosophy

We believe that the workouts we provide in the weight room should transfer directly to an athlete’s performance at practice and competition. We train with the goal of enhancing athleticism by focusing on:

List of 5 items.

  • Movement Training

Movement training develops agility, balance, and coordination, enabling athletes to move efficiently on and off the field. By mastering dynamic movement patterns, our athletes achieve superior control and adaptability, giving them a competitive edge in any sport.
  • Power

Power training focuses on explosive force and speed, enhancing quickness and reaction times. Our athletes learn to generate maximum output in minimal time, perfect for dominating sprints, jumps, and decisive plays.
  • Strength

Strength training builds the foundation of athletic performance by increasing muscle endurance and power. Through personalized programs, our athletes gain the resilience and capability to excel during intense gameplay and rigorous training.
  • Injury Prevention Methods

Injury prevention methods emphasize proper mechanics, mobility, and recovery practices. By proactively addressing potential weaknesses, our athletes reduce downtime and stay in peak condition throughout their seasons.
  • Maintaining and Increasing Sport-Specific Playing Ability

We tailor training to the demands of each sport, ensuring athletes not only maintain but enhance their specific skill sets. This approach keeps our athletes game-ready and performing at the top of their abilities, season after season.
We teach and develop quality movement patterns and then continuously apply the progressive overload principle to build strength and competency. This is how we become WILDCAT STRONG!
