Samantha Simon ‘13 + Jeremy Mintz ‘13

On their first day of high school, Sam and Jeremy walked into Ms. Wong’s advisory classroom, not knowing that they were about to meet their future spouses. Unbeknownst to them, the memory of their introduction would hold great importance to them years later.

Jeremy and Sam’s relationship began with a friendship, the two finding a deeper connection their senior year. When the year came to an end, they ended up going to prom together with a group of their dear friends - which is a favorite memory shared by the couple, remembered by the prom picture they took together before they were even dating. Somehow, they were drawn to take a photo with one another that day, before they knew what was to come down the line.

After reconnecting in college, the two began dating, embarking on a journey together with deeply connected roots. Knowing each other’s families and going to high school together, this had been a long time coming for the duo. Seven years later, as Jeremy proposed to Sam on the beach, one of the many photos of their beautiful memories together was that same photo from their Milken prom.

The couple currently lives together in Los Angeles, and plan to unite in marriage next year. Sam is a fashion forecaster, and Jeremy works in real estate brokerage and is a professional poker player.
