TEDxMilken Shares Ideas Worth Spreading

Milken hosted its second annual TEDx conference on Sunday, March 22.
Held in the Robert Margolis Performing Arts Center, the event featured inspirational, entertaining, and informative talks. Seven speakers, including an alumnus, an alumni parent, and five current students — one of whom a middle school student — took center stage to share their insights on diverse topics ranging from identifying passions to create a fulfilling life to using music as a bridge between the arts and sciences.

TEDxMilken was organized and produced by Chanel Broshinsky ’15 with Dr. Evan Beachy as the faculty advisor. Students in the Leadership & Business Ethics class assisted with the production along with their faculty advisor Noa Schecter.

Chanel noted some of the benefits of holding TEDx events, “TEDx events give students the ability to share their passions and inspire others. Students also gain confidence when sharing their thoughts on stage.”
