Students Sing In CAIS Honors Choir

Eight Milken students participated in the 2014 CAIS Honors Choir.
Ariel Bina '15, Noah Daniel '17, Noam Fields-Meyer '16, Jenna Fink '16, Sawyer Kroll '17, Sophie Lainer '16, Brandon Ptasznik '17, and Brigitte Tabaroki '15, performed in the choir, which was comprised of 75 students from schools in the California Association of Independent Schools. Assistant Professor of Choral and Sacred Music from USC Thornton School of Music, Dr. Cristian Grases, conducted. The students performed four pieces:
  1. Laetatus Sum by Johann Michael Haydn
  2. The Dream Ship by Susan LaBarr and Eugene Field
  3. Jamaican Market Place by Larry Farrow
  4. Rejoice! by Jeffery L. Ames
The students rehearsed and performed at Viewpoint School in Calabasas. Our very own Ariel Bina was awarded the ONLY female solo in the concert!
