Jewish Futures Conference Celebrates Innovation

The recent Jewish Futures Conference drew a record crowd of 200 participants.
Designed to engage students as active participants in a process of Jewish renewal and innovation, the conference featured 22 groups of students who presented projects to transform the Jewish future on college campuses and beyond.

David Suissa, president of the Jewish Journal, was one of the distinguished community influencers who closed the event, with reflections on the student presentations. He was particularly impressed by the range of global innovation expressed in the forward-thinking program proposals, but cautioned not to forget about the 'bubbies and zaydes' when looking toward the future.
